WHAT IS UR?
UR, an abbreviation standing for Umbrarum Regnum (The Kingdom of Shadows in Latin) is my attempt on creating a Roguelike game. It is heavily inspired by one of the most famous (if not *THE* most famous) Roguelikes, Thomas Biskup's Ancient Domains of Mystery.
It is a turn-based Roguelike with pseudo-graphics (ASCII console emulator with a custom set of 256 characters) and real-time visual effects. It is set in a classic fantasy world.
WHAT'S THE CURRENT GAME DEVELOPMENT STATUS?
Well, it's under development. The current version is 0.0.3 and it is not yet playable. For more detailed information, check out the Features section of this site.
WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD UR?
You cannot, neither here nor in any other place on the net. The game's under development and this will not change in the near future. As soon as the testing of the main features is done and some opponents are implemeted, I'll gladly upload the unfinished game for you to see how it really looks like.
